Jaksaw "Noise EP"

Jaksaw (AKA Jack Stuart) hails from Bournemouth and has been involved in the thriving underground dance scene for many years both as a dj and as a producer. Starting off at underground parties Jack was exposed to the freshest, rawest sounds of the scene and his production technique flourished in this inspirational environment and it wasn’t long before he began gaining the attention of djs and producers up and down the country. His style that has taken inspiration from the likes of Speakerjunk, Lee Mortimer, Hi-jack, Jesse Rose, Chuck Love, Jacob London and many more to create a sound which is not only unique but also maintains a strong connection to the very roots of house music.

His latest offering is his "Noise EP" on Nitrous Records with the first track "New Jack Heights" available now exclusively from DjDownloads and "Noise" following shortly exclusively on Beatport.

Wongo - Itchy Trigger Finger (zShare)

Check out some more of his tracks on his myspace, their plently more where this came from!!

Oh Snap!!

Two remixes sent through from Oh Snap!! the other day which are really taking my fancy, specially Hostage's take on 'Bill Cosby Sweater'.

Sawtooth Sucka EP

This fella is on top form lately, not just with his Sawtooth Sucka guise but also under his real name Lee Mortimer (check out his latest remix here) and is showing no signs of stopping any time soon. His productions have been in my box for a long time now but it's his latest stuff that is really catching my ear!

Sawtooth Sucka 'Don't You Forget About Lee EP'
[Wearhouse Music WEAR005]

1. Depressed Mode : Sample mp3
2. This Is Hot : Sample mp3
3. Backing Town : Sample mp3
4. Backing Town (Scott Cooper's Back In The Rave Remix) : Sample mp3

Available now at Juno Download and Stompy later this week.

"The 5th EP from Lee Mortimer's Wearhouse Music label is here. Rising star, Lee himself provides the tracks under his Sawtooth Sucka guise.

With support from Switch, Jesse Rose, Hijack, Crookers and many more this label is going from strength to strength with the last release getting to the top spot in the Junodownload sales charts.

'Depressed Mode' kick things off with a full on fidget fest of squelchy beats and a sample in the break to absolutely die for! Drop it and wait for the crowds to scream for more.

'This Is Hot' is next up, again with jackin' beats, catchy samples and a filth bassline.

'Backing Town' started life as a tribute song to Jesse Rose! Just check out the sample and you'll know what we mean. Adored by Jesse himself for it's quirkness and above all else the nutty sample.

Wearhouse Music new-boy Scott Cooper provides the remix of 'Backing Town' and what a corker it is. Putting a dirtier spin on proceedings with Rave-tastic synths."

Always some skratching thrown in to keep things movin, so download and bump it where ever you can.

Go check out his myspace for free downloads of his production work, alot more jacking bits and pieces up there. Looking forward to hearing more from this lad in the future!

Pulling Teeth emailed over their latest track at the weekend, if you don't know anything about them here it is in their own words :) i'm getting lazy by this point as you can tell.

We (Pulling Teeth) are DJ duo started in the summer of 2006. We've been djing a lot since then, all around milan at our own parties, or at other events, but also london, frankfurt and around the north of italy.

During the last 2 years we've seen projects like Congorock, Crookers and Bloody Beetroots grew up and i guess we grew up as well, even if we were very concentrated on the back to back djsets.

Our Dj style is a mix of hardcore heavy stumpers and electro giant distortions all fucked up with fidget bass monsters and handclappings.

After 2 years of distortion disco we needed to express ourselves through our own songs, even if we didn't know how the fuck a multitracker worked, but we kinda managed to learn and this is the result.

We've been singing the vocals you hear, i mean it, that's our voice, for real..... ;)
Anyways, the song is called NEW ERA, hope you like it.

Titan is an Italian Producer/Dj who got in touch with me through myspace not long ago and wanted me to check out his work, and i'm glad he did! He currently has a mini EP available on Montana Records Digital entitled "Star-T EP" which includes the track "Star-T" along with a remix by French Producer/Dj, Thony Ritz. check out the remix below then head over to Beatport for the full EP in better quality.

I'm loving all 3 takes on this track and can't decide which is my favourite. Check them all out below and let us know what you all think. Then come March grab yourself a copy from Beatport and all other good digital sites.
